If you do not workout, you will gain weight and you will not have the body you want. Keeping a healthy lifestyle is extremely important. This is not to say that you shouldn’t workout, because you most definitely should. Lots of cardio results in fat loss, you want to try to maintain the fat you have in your butt so that it doesn’t get smaller. If you want to keep your butt looking the way it did after your Brazilian butt lift, you should keep the cardio to a minimum and just concentrate on weight training. One thing you must keep in mind is that losing weight will probably also results in losing fat in the buttock. Now, once you have healed, it is okay to get back to your normal workout routines. All incisions and muscles must be able to heal completely before doing any strenuous workouts. Before getting back into any intense workouts, it is important to let your body get back to 100% health. After getting a BBL procedure, you must let your body recover for the first few weeks. I absolutely love this platform and recommend it to all my clients, even women over 50. If you’re a fan of Autumn, you should also be aware that she’s coming out with a new program in December 2020, called 9 Week Control Freak and from what I’m hearing, it’s pretty freaking awesome. Now, to be fair, this workout was created over 11 years ago, which is why the marketing is dated, and yes, the Brazilian theme clearly reflects the bikini-clad culture of South America, but still. Cardio isn’t bad, but it won’t transform your shape like building lean muscle will. You’ve heard me say this before - lean muscle burns fat and contrary to what a lot of folks still believe, strength training is the best method for weight loss. As a personal trainer, I can tell you that a lot of glute-focused programs miss the mark on this. Leandro Carvalho, the creator of Brazilian Butt Lift does a great job of targeting all three major muscles that make up your glutes.
